Life and Career

Regan grew up in California[2]. In 1999 Regan and his wife, Moura, moved from their home in Davis, California to North Idaho. Regan is a traditionalist Catholic, meaning he is among those Catholics who have broken from the official church, attend mass in Latin, and consider Pope Francis to be a heretic.

Regan considers himself an inventor, and his company is Regan Designs[3].

In 2012, his mother hosted a lavish fundraiser for Mitt Romney in her Hillsborough, California, home, attended by Regan.

In the news

In 2013, Brent Regan was in the news for telling an apparently racist joke[4] for which he apologized.

In 2014, Brent Regan heavily contributed to the deceptively named Kootenai County Republican Concerned Citizens PAC (KCRCC, but no, not that KCRCC)[5]. This continued through at least the 2018 election. This group endorsed candidates in non-partisan elections, and the Idaho Republican Party disavowed the endorsements[6].

In 2019, Brent Regan was in the news for leading the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee (KCRCC) in a resolution to petition the Trump administration to let white nationalist Generation Identity leader Martin Sellner into the US so he could wed Post Falls resident Brittany Pettibone[7]. The petition was denied by the federal government, and David Reilly traveled to Austria to attend the Sellner/Pettibone wedding.
